A comprehensive review of oils used in processing both natural and manmade fibers and their blends includes an introduction that discusses oleic and synthetic oils and sections on raw materials, the study and formulation of the oils, analysis and tests, applications in textile processes, and equipment used to apply the oils. The review also discusses marketing, environmental issues, terminology, and suppliers.
