Rieter Textile Systems' SPIDERweb is a fully integrated monitoring system that collects, analyzes, and displays all quality and production data from spinning. Operators enter various machine settings, such as time and shift schedules. The system has a Microsoft Windows user interface, very simple operation, and a wide range of functions. Advantages include spinning position analysis that significantly improves quality, raw material optimization, stoppage analysis that leads to production increases, and personnel savings. The unit fits on all current Rieter spinning mahcines and is undergoing expansion for use with order models, as well.
