Maschinenfabrik Rieter AG's SPIDERweb data system collects, prepares, and displays all quality and production data from a complete spinning installation on a central monitor. It features a Microsoft Windows interface and allows such settings as time and shift schedules to be entered centrally. The SPIDERweb spinning position analysis reveals slub catcher operations, count deviations, and other recorded quality parameters that are outside normal limits. Future customers will be able to reach Rieter through an online link and work directly with Rieter specialists. One SPIDERweb customer increased plant efficiency enough to pay for the SPIDERweb system within a few months.
