Distinguishing features of modern rotor-spinning mills include high degrees of automation and sophisticated work-flow organization. Highly-flexible production technology controlled and monitored by electronic systems is now attainable. Automation components in the spinning mill, features of highly-automated rotor-spinning mills and package transport between rotor-spinning machines and the packing department are discussed.
