Spinnability of Gara-bo' Spun Silk Yarn.

Researchers examined the Gara-bo silk yarn spinning machine to investigate the possibility of producing yarns with additional desirable properties. Results indicated that the stuffer tube affects the optimal values for total weight of fibers and length of fibers, and the fiber length of raw materials is a critical factor that affects the number of gripped fibers at the point of yarn formation. 3 refs.
