The Zinser Ro-We-Mat 670 yarn spinning machine reduces costs by streamlining processing stages via a new drive and control concept. Tubes on the spindles running on bearings in the bobbin rail move without a corresponding motion at the bottom or top support elements, which eliminates friction and wear. A spinning geometry that includes the same intake angle for all flyer rolls ensures a constant roving fineness for all roving bobbins. With corrdinated drafting systems, the Ro-We-Mat can process cotton, manmade fibers, or blends. Its system of advanced frequency converters permits significant reductions in lot changing times. Its VMEbus control software permits setting adjustments at the operator console, eliminates mechanical setting, and stores settings in data records that can be retrieved and transferred to other machines.
