ComforSpin: A New Spinning Process Makes Its Appearance.

The spinning machine manufacturer Rieter developed a ring spinning process that results in greater yarn quality than conventional ring spun yarns. The comforSpin process uses a pneumatic condensing zone after the main drafting process. The process yields a virtually ideal yarn structure. The new Com4 brand yarn has higher tensile strength and elongation than does conventional ring spun yarn, resulting in greater stretch recovery. It is less hairy than conventional yarns and has a softer hand. Fabric manufactured from Com4 yarns exhibits a high level of luster, with sharp print and jacquard definition.
