High-draft and conventional drafting machinery and equipment for spinning fine count yarn was exhibited at the 1991 ITMA. Suessen, Fehrer, and Lummus Mackie exhibited high-draft drafting units fro ring spinning machines. These units were fitted on Fehrer's DREF ring spinning machine, Suessen's RingCan aliver ring spinning machine, and Lummus Mackie's sliver ring spinning machine. Murata demonstrated high-draft drafting units for its air jet spinning machines; Suessen showed units for its Plyfil air jet and Parafil wrap spinning machines. SKF and Suessen presented conventional drafting units optimized for spinning fine yarn counts. 9 refs.
