Increased productivity in spinning mills can be achieved by reducing labor costs through extensive automation of transport systems between machines. Machinery for process linkage, materials transport, and materials handling was exhibited at the 1991 ITMA. Equipment made by Saurer, Murata, Toyota, Nissan, Pieter, Zellweger Uster, Hollingworth, Gualchierani, OKK, and Volkmann is described.
