Electro-Jet SA manufactures an automatic bobbin handling system that consists of a sorting machine, an MLB cleaner, and a laying machine (Jet-1, Jet-2, or Jet-3) for all types of ring spinning bobbins. Specifications include bobbin length, maximum bobbin diameter, transport system type, feeding system type, installed electrical power, air pressure and consumption, laying machine and cleaner production rates, working control type, security device type, voltage, and layout. Laying machine type depends on bobbin box characteristics and bobbin orientation. The Jet-1 laying machine has a box length of up to approximately 350 m/m; the Jet-2, 350-800 m/m with a height of up to 400 m/m; and the Jet-3, 350-800 m/m with a height of greater than 400 m/m.
