Two integrated systems by Karl Mayer are described for direct and indirect linking of the ring frame and the automatic cone winder in spinning carded and semi-worsted yarns. The direct link system connects the cone winder directly with the spinning machine. The indirect system uses pallets. Specifications and efficiency improvements are noted.
