Drawing, spinning, and winding are linked in automated semiworsted yarn production to increase yarn quality and decrease labor costs. James Mackie and Sons manufactures a system which consists of a semiworsted card and chaingil drawing frame which are automatically doffed. The Rove Draw Finisher is a new finisher chaingill. This preparation machinery is linked to a new series of automated Ringtron spinning frames which are then linked to automatic winders. A single zone drafting system provides additional flexibility.
