The differences in the quality of fabrics made of polyester/cotton yarns produced on ring, Murata air jet, and open end spinning systems are examined. Pilling, strength, and hand were examined for both woven and knit fabrics. The effects of the spinning system, denier, weave pattern, and tightness of weave were studied.
