Recent improvements in spinning automation have occurred at every manufacturing stage: fiber opening, web forming, sliver drawing, combing, and spinning. Spinning frame automation may be linked to a system that integrates the roving frame and the winder. In non-conventional spinning advances in automation have been made in open end, air jet, and wrapping systems.
