N.Schlumberger & Cie's R5L/GC 15 blending and defelting machine features four roll drafting zones between five sets of cylinders that process two fabrics and a chain gilling machine at a right angle. The R5A/GC 15 blending and defelting machine with electronic controls features a touch screen interface that controls counting, tachometry, displays, process adjustments, and diagnosis. The D2-D3/GC 15 compact defelting machine processes tow to tops that do not require high doublings, and blends and defelts after dyeing and washing. Optional features include an electronic draft autoleveler and an automatic delivery system for one can or one ball.
