N.Schlumberger & Cie's GC 15 gilling machine processes wool fibers, long staple manmade fibers, flax tow, and similar fibers for combing, converting, stretching, defelting, and recombing. Features include a shorter machine frame than conventional gilling machines, drive system with touch screen controls, pneumatic vacuum cleaner, creels for multiple delivery types, integrated suction and blowing that meet European and international standards. Options include a movable sprayer for spraying at delivery or at the creel and a drafting autoleveler with or without cones and electronic memory.
