An overview of new developments and trends in spinning technology include the G33 and XLA30 ring spinning machines. The G33 ring spinning machine modifies the cross section of the nose bar of the apron to improve fiber speed control and uses a SERVOgrip system for automatic doffing without underwinding. The XLA30 ring spinning machine features a twin traverse mechanism, ring rail lifting mechanism, and automatic doffing unit with pneumatic grippers.
