Production of fault-free world class yarns from Indian cottons using modern spinning technologies

Producing yarns of world class quality from Indian cottons is a great challenge because of the inherent drawbacks of the raw material. Several Indian mills have shown, however, that these problems can be overcome by: selection of suitable cottons and stricter control on mixing quality; proper use of modern machines and technologies; and appropriate work practices.
