Zinser's Ro-We-Mat 670 roving machine features a four axis drive system with separate electric motors for the drafting system, flyers, bobbin, and bobbin rail that are synchronized and coordinated by a central machine control system. Computer controlled bobbin winding increases precision. Full integration of the doffer reduces doffing time on a 120 spindle roving machine to approximately 5 minutes. The Zinser 350 ring spinning machine's Synchro-Drive system synchronizes up to 1,488 spindles for uniform yarn twist. The bottom rolls of the drafting system are driven from both ends, and synchronized draft drives optimize reliability.
