Murata machinery Limited introduced the first air jet spinning machine at the end of the 1970s. Air jet spinning machines integrate roving, spinning, and winding processes into one machine. The Murata Jet Spinner (MJS) air jet spinning machine spins at speeds of up to 300 meters per minute. The Murata Vortex Spinner (MVS) air vortex spinning machine spins 100 percent cotton from low cost carded sliver into a yarn structure similar to that of ring spun yarn. Yarns generated by the MVS and MJS machines are abrasion and pill resistant, fast drying, lintless, and colorfact. MJS spun New Spun Yarn features a unique structure composed of double layer fibers.
