Spinning mills in India must diversify their operations by combining carded, combed, and open end rotor spinning, as well as processing both cotton and manmade fibers. Mills should use draw frame blending machines for combed cotton fibers. Trutzschler's Blendomat BDT tuft blending machine blends fibers in the blowroom prior to carding. Gravimetric feeding systems permit precise determination of relative deviations in material flow. Gravimetric systems based on the weighing feeder principle increase precision and blend quality via computer calibration and electrical load cells that measure to within an accuracy of six different fiber types. The DK803 high production carding machine, Cleanomat cleaning machine, and Wasteomat recycling system optimize yarn manufacturing efficiency.
