Sliver machine-analysis of dynamics of technological process

Current technological points at issue of cotton spinning mills are the question of further reduction of production process for obtaining economically advantageous conditions of yarn production and for obtaining advantageous conditions for prospective automation of spinning mills. Especially in the open end spinning mills this problem is already in relatively advanced stage of verification with the application of Sliver Machine which replaces flat card, 1st and 2nd drafting passages in the technological chain. This study deals with an analysis of technological process on the Sliver Machine, the analysis of carding and drafting system on this machine and judgment of the machine prerequisites for fulfillment of technological demands for the given process of production and at the same time for obtaining the level of indicators of significant sliver properties which is determined for direct spinning on the open end spinning machine.
