The processes preceding cotton spinning were studied with the aim of improving the quality of fibre preparation when spinning a blended fibre. The cleaning and blending processes and the structure of the production line were studied with a view to optimising the process. Recommendations are suggested for reducing the production chain in cotton spinning.
