The author reviews yarns formation equipment exhibited at the October 2001 ITMA Asia in Singapore. He covers machinery for the production of man made fibres, spinning equipment, blowroom machinery and cards, cambers and drawframes, speed-frames and ringframes, rotorframes, winders and twisters and testing developments. The layout and facilities at the exhibition are criticised by the author, who found the level of planning inadequate.
