Schlafhorst has developed a device for producing spun yarn by means of an air-flow acting in a twisting manner on the fibres of an untwisted sliver. The system, which has a revolving spindle, is claimed to be an improved method of forming spun yarns from staple fibres, where the yarns do not suffer any loss of strength.
