Stephenson Thompson Textile Chemicals recently developed Spintek H, part of a range of low addition wool lubricants for antistatic carding and spinning. According to stephenson Thompson managing director Jonathan Long, Spintek H imparts exceptional yarn levelness, which promotes maximum efficiency when the yarn is processed on high speed knitting machines and projectile or rapier looms. Intended for cashmere, lambswool, and shetland blends, Spintek H is biodegradble, easy to apply, and forms water based emulsions at normal concentrations and temperatures. The International Wool Secretariat approves the use of Spintek H on Superwash grade wool.
