Vickers recently introduced Yarnol 1492E, a Fully biodegradable yarn lubricant for the production of spun woolen yarns. Intended for cashmere, lambswool, and shetland blends, Yarnol 1492E is easy to apply and forms fluid emulsions at normal concentrations. Field tests confirm that Yarnol 1492E boosts fiber yields after carding and spinning. According to the company, Yarnol 1492E may be regarded as a biodegradable version of the industry standard Yarnol FF. Yarnol 1492E is the latest addition to the Vickers line of environmentally safe fiber lubricants, which includes Lainaspin 1500E and Frescolene B (intended for woolen hosiery yarns and woolen carpet yarns, respectively).
