Herzog's GRM 08 is an electronically controlled take-off creel for use with such high technology fibers as carbon, glass, and aramid. Every take-off position is carefully controlled. Each thread is removed with a constant thread force and a constant thread velocity. A bobbin winding machine, which is electronically connected to the GRM 08, adjusts the thread velocity. Maximum thread velocity is 300 meters per minute. The maximum revolution of the take-off axis is 500 rpm.
