The LG-200 Portable Tensiometer tests shear, peel, and tensile strengths of fabrics, as well as the puncture resistance of geosynthetics, geotextiles, fgabrics, plastics, ans rubber sheeting. Its interchangeable grips make it particularly useful for liner installers. It accommodates a variety of test specifications with different material types and sizes, and can be used either in the laboratory or in the field. The light weight design makes it economical to transport and easy to use in the field. THe machine also features rapid grip return after tests, automatically maintained test speed regardless of load, motor overload protection, a memory that saves peak load value, digital displays of speed, load, and extension values, and a choice of RS232 or DC voltage output. The maximum rated load of the machine is 1,000 pounds per foot. The crosshead speed is contimuously variable from 1 to 20 inches per mimute. Trade Literature.
