The claim refers to a method for producing a blended wool/man-made fibre yarn. The wool fibres are given a shrink-resistant finish and then combined with a cellulosic fibre. A softening resin may be applied to the wool before or after blending. Blends of cotton or flax with man-made fibres are also disclosed. IPC D02G.
