Systems for dyring yarn after dyeing, developed by the Italian firm of Obem Dyeing Machinery, are described. Particular attention is devoted to the ERF/0/10 dryer which combines radio frequency with warm air circulation. The ERF/0/10 produces energy savings, ensures a uniform temperature throughout the bobbin, dries at low temperature, reduces the risk of yellowing, and the bobbins do not need to be removed from their stainless steel bobbin carrier. Various drying cycles can be selected for different types of yarn. The ERF/0/10 can be included in a robotized dye works.
