Cotton waste reclamation: a money-spinning process

The reuse of waste discarded in the processing of cotton is considered. The total waste separated from cleaners and cards is estimated to have a fibre content of 65-70％. Machines from Trutzschler GmbH and Co. of Monchengladbach, Germany, for the processing of cleaning and carding wastes and gin motes are described. Cost aspects of reclamation are outlined.
