Wool-based blends with flax processed in the worsted system

A technology for processing flax with wool and synthetic fibres in the worsted system was worked out and introduced in Worsted Spinning Plant 'Welnopol' in Czestochowa (yarn for woven fabrics) and 'erinotex' in Torun (yarn for knittings) Poland. The flax content in mixed yarn amounts to 30％. Characteristics of the yarn produced are presented. Its application in woven and knit fabrics has been tested with good results.
