Rieter Chemical Fiber Systems manufactures two types of draw winding machines for the tire cord and industrial yarn industry. Riedraw is an extremely flexible machine due to its modular design. Its main applications are for such end products as air bags, safety belts, and tarpaulins. The heavy duty Riecord machine uses yarn in the 1,100 and higher decitex range for tires and conveyor belts. Rievap draw roll units use an induction heating system that is simple to operate, reliable, and cost effective. The Riemat winder family comprises both friction driven and chuck driven models with speeds of up to 8,000 meters per minute. The Computer Integrated Filament Process Control System (CIF) integrates and optimizes the components of a continuous process. Rieter also supplies components for upgrading existing equipment.
