A mathematical analysis is made of the fibre distribution in an Nm 14 70/30 cellulosic/polyester yarn, the polyester fibres move mainly to the interior of the yarn, giving it the appropriate physical and mechanical properties. The cellulosic fibres move mainly to the outside, giving it good comfort properties and abrasion resistance.
