Micrell is a polyester microfilament yarn produced by three companies of the Radici group. It is produced in both flat and textured forms. Used on its own or in blends, Micrell produces a particularly soft and silky hand and provides excellent moisture absorption properties. End-uses in sportswear, raincoats, home furnishing, underwear and industrial fabrics are envisaged. Preparation of the yarns for weaving, dyeing of the woven fabric and finishing techniques are described.
