Du Pont's cotton blend warp yarns for durable fabrics are comprised of 35-90 percent by weight of cotton, 10-15 percent by weight of organic polymer, and up to 55 percent by weight of another fiber. This blend is spun conventionally, wetted in an aqueous bath, and dried under tension. The blend yarn is described in United States patent 5 077 126.
