Manufacturing Technology of Composite Yarns with Polyester/Polyester and Polyester/Staple for Garment.

Researchers used interlacing, air jet nozzles, and texturing machines to study the technology of manufacturing polyester blended yarns. They analyzed yarn physical properties and various processing conditions for interlaced and airjet textured yarns. Various physical properties (shrinkage and stress) and mechanical properties were analyzed and evaluated for their effects on such processing stages as weaving, dyeing, and finishing. The goal of this research project is to develop high value added polyester fabrics for apparel.
