Owing to its structure asbestos possesses the whole complex of characteristics which are very important for different fields of usage. The harmful effect f ashestos dust for the health of people, as well as the forbidding of its usage in industrial countries, led to the appearance of new synthetic fibers of specific structure, among which the aramid fibers take a special place. Beside good mechanical qualities, they possess the quality of non-inflammability.
