Details are given of a long-stable spinning line which comprises a faller set drafting unit, a wool combing machine, a speed frame and a ring spinning machine, together with automated units. In the worsted sector great demands are placed on machine flexibility, especially in the case of small lots. The technical and economic advantages of this spinning line are discussed.
