knowledge of the interaction between the yarn spinning process and the resulting textile is a precondition for using new spun yarns. the aim of the investigations was therefore to determine the characteristics and physical-technical properties of 3 yarns produced by different techniques. these are oe spun yarns, non-twisted spun yarn and yarn from circular spinning with deliverately different structures. the investigation should give information on how the structural differences of the yarns affect the properties of the textiles produced from them. the above-mentioned yarns were woven many microscopic, twist, dynamometer, unevenness, yarn fault and other yarn analyses describe the structure and properties of the yarns. the differences in properties of the 3 types of yarn produced are pointed out (extension, tensile strength, bending stiffness, creasing recovery ability).
