Rieter Scragg's Jetex 1200 solves many problems associated with air jet texturing. The following four areas have consistently been cited as problem areas n air jet texturing: the cost of air consumption and supply yarn; poor product quality; operational problems such as yarn breaks, operator fatigue, and process instability; and high product shrinkage. There have been dramatic improvements in both air consumption and costs in recent years. The Jetex 1200 has helped solve many operational problems, including process instability, and has provided better product quality and shrinkage behavior. Careful attention has been paid to four key areas of machine design: feed roller to jet geometry, water application, operator ergonomics, and heat setting.
