A process for the stuffer-box crimping of synthetic filament yarns involves sucking in the yarns by means of an air steam and transporting the yarns in the air stream to the stuffer-box. The air stream acts on the yarns at high speed and impinges on them at a specified acute angle. IPC D02G.
