Barmag manufactures texturing machines for double density, multiple, thick, thin, linen-like, two tone, conjugate, pore interlaced, variable shrinkage, and interlaced elastane bicomponent yarns. Its FK 6-1000 texturing machine manufactures bicomponent yarns with elastane core yarns and S/Z plied draw textured sheath yarns. Resultant yarns have a high degree of elasticity and no torque. Yarn packages of 20, 40, and 70 denier are avaliable without transfer tail in weights of up to 500 grams. Single stage processing with a heating zone offers lower production costs and better yarn quality than conventional air covering processes.
