Hamel AG's Elasto Twister LE balloonless single covering machine for filament yarns requires 45 percent less energy consumption than other balloonless spindle machines. The machine manufactures uniform elastic ply yarns, microfiber yarns, high bulk yarns, and other materials without covering defects or soiling. It achieves spindle speeds of up to 18,000 rpm and delivery speeds of up to 80 meters per minute. The Elasto Twister 125 LE machine for fine to medium count yarns with a 1 kilogram yarn feed and 240 spindles requires 30 kilowatts of power. Programmable servo motors that traverse up to a bobbin stroke of 250 millimeters permit high delivery speeds and 1.3 kilogram finished bobbins without knots. Operators can adjust yarn package formation, construction, and density.
