High Tech Scholl Facility to Aid in Development of New dyeing Products.

In December 1993, Scholl inaugurated a 53,000 square foot facility housing its headquarters and a machinery production plant. The additional space and equipment will enable Scholl to speed up its development of new products. The plant is designed to produce 100 dyeing or bleaching machines annually. Production in the first year should exceed 75 machines. Two of Scholl America's latest products are the Trio Color Star jet dyeing machine and Trio Bleach Star batch bleaching machine. A dispensing system has been designed and will be built for installation within six months. A number of other new products and refinements in its computer aided design systems are forthcoming. Other products include package dyeing machines and atmospheric dyeing mahcines. Its atmospheric machines are built with kiers made by Scholl AG.
