Continuous Machine for Drying Rope Fabrics.

The Italian textile machinery manufacturer Biancalani recently introduced the Rotos, a continuous drying machine or woven and knit fabrics in rope form. Special rollers pull the wet fabric into a perforated drum made of stainless steel. A hot air stream permanently blows through the perforated drum and is uniformly distrubuted over the fabric surface. The alternating rotation of the durm facilitates rope displacement druing drying. A special conveyor belt prevents lingitudina stretching during fabric transport. Biancalani recommends that eha operator remove dry fabric from the Rotos with its rope opener, which can be combined with a cutting tool to slit open the fabric tube.
