Modern changes to the dyestuff industry can be attributed to would population growth and the rapid growth of the chemicals processing and fibers industries. This rapid growth has contributed to global environmental effects, including the depletion of natural resources and the greenhouse effect. Environmentally besign growth is recommended for an expanding, healthy global dyestuff industry of the future. New development preserving ecological balance should include a rationalization of existing technology, identification and development of safer technology, and design and dvelopment of safer and more environmentally friendly products.
