Scholl's MiniPlus range of fabric dyeing machines can process as little as 1-4 kilograms of fabric when equipped with its new Microstorage chamber insert. The Microstorage chamber sits abovethe standard storage chamber, which has a capacity of between 35 and 110 kilograms, and takes only 10 minutes to fit. The system uses the existing main winch and nozzles. It can process natural and synthetic fabrics in a weight range of up to 600 grams per linear meter. The Microstorage chamber makes its possible for users to dye very small lots for testing the color and physical properties of a fabric under almost any production conditions. A minimum of fabric has to be dyed during sampling, which saves dyes, chemicals, and energy.
