The colorants division of Ciba Laboratories in Chile has been equipped since 1990 with a Datacolor system consisting of a Texflash spectrophotometer and Iris software. The system is used for quality contorl, color formulation, and color correction. Gloria Bunout has been head of the Ciba Textle Laboratory since 1964. She alos serves as technical davisor to Ciba's clients in the textile sector. In an interview, Bunout descrobes the Datacolor system and its use at Ciba Laboratories.
